With this kit, you will build the Prism, an exciting interactive light show experience using an Arduino-type microcontroller and custom circuitry. Watch your creation come alive, dancing to music and sounds in a brilliant display of vibrant color and flashing lights. You can also personalize your Prism to output steady streams of alternating color patterns to create your own perfect mood lamp.
Meanwhile, you will learn basic principles of electronics assembly, troubleshooting, and programming; this experience will enable you to gain fundamental technical and hands-on skills to jumpstart your early career as an engineer, technician, or hobbyist.
This kit is designed to supplement advanced highschool- or freshmen/sophomore college-level engineering class material. Providing all of the necessary components and tools, this kit will allow you to have an engaging electronics assembly laboratory experience from the comfort of your home. No prior experience is necessary.
